What's ideal credit limit line to have a good credit score?

I don't use credit cards to make large purchases a lot. What's ideal credit limit line to have a good credit score? I was told that the higher your credit limit the more "at risk" you'll be in the eye of creditors, and that's not good for your credit score. Would it be $5K, $10K, $20K or other?|||Get a credit card from local bank and pay it in time. You also can use this service to avoid common mistakes while buiding credit and pre-estimate future scores for different scenarios of payments - credit-report-free.totalh.com|||I don't believe that "at risk" rule.

I believe that as long as you never touch 20 to 25% of your available credit limit you are in god shape.

That's why it is important to have high credit limits.

Some people charge every day expenses on their cards and pay them in full each month.

They need to watch that 25% rule.

I have a 40 page experian report of many credit cards - yet have top 800 scores.

Usage and staying within that limit is of most importance.

If that rule were true.

Most of these "no limit" cards would be ruining credit scores.

I think they would compare salary against what you owe much more importantly.
