I heard that it is really hard to get a credit limit increase from capital one now. Is there a "backdoor" customer service number that I can call that would help? What should I do, because a $300 limit is pretty comical. Thanks!|||Capital One is super stingy about credit limits....I finally got a limit increase after 9 years.
Capital One's preferred method is to give out multiple low limit cards to the same person instead...that way they can get multiple late fees per month if you fall behind.
There is no secret #....All phone calls to Capital One are outsourced to India and they'll just read from a script.
